“Achievers operate differently. They have an eye for the essential. They pause just long enough to decide what matters and then allow what matters to drive their day. Achievers do sooner what others plan to do later and defer, perhaps indefinitely, what others do sooner. The difference is not in intent, but in right of way, achievers always work from a clear sense of priority.”

The one thing by Gary Keller is among those books, which should be implemented in daily life consistently. It teaches us why we must go after the one thing that matters the most to improve our personal and professional life. It also teaches us being busy and being productive are two different things.

“Be like a postage stamp — stick to one thing until you get there.” — Josh Billings.

Be aware of multitasking on things that demand your best cognitive self. Because you will fail to be your elite best producing that matters the most for your job or business. For instance, cut off everyone and everything while writing your next blog, or designing a new product, or coding, or anything that matters.

One thing should not be only for your job or business, but you must define your one thing for your physical being (Running, Boxing, Skipping, Resistant training, or Yoga) and emotional being (Meditation, Relaxation, Reading or Journaling). Answer this question now: “What’s the ONE THING I can do to improve my body, mind, and business (or job)?”
